Our   Story

LjH Consulting was formed by Lisa Hunter, an experienced Marketing, Events and Project Manager, in 2010.  As a small consultancy we offer a very personalised service, tailoring all projects to fulfill our client needs.  We work closely with our clients and build lasting relationships that get results.

An accomplished marketing and events manager with extensive experience in delivering large-scale public and community events, corporate functions, and fundraising galas.

With over 20 years of expertise in project management, budgeting, supplier negotiations, and health & safety compliance, Lisa combines strategic planning with on-the-ground operations to ensure successful and memorable events.
 
In addition, Lisa has delivered strategic marketing support and managed creative projects for a wide range of clients.  Sector experience includes recruitment into civil engineering sector, education, health, media, events, hospitality, voluntary and security.

​In addition she has three years’ experience in the education sector working for a leading independent primary school.  During her time in this sector Lisa successfully re-branded the school, implemented a new mobile-responsive website, a social media strategy, as well as organised a range of events to promote the school.
 
Lisa’s degree background in IT and data analysis means not only does she understand the marketing process; she is also able to offer analytical support for any type of marketing campaign.  Lisa applies a targeted and very well organised approach to all her work, ensuring a full understanding of client needs and forming long-standing working relationships.

The course covered a lot of aspects of IT and business, including Database Design using Access and Oracle, programming using Java, Systems Analysis and Design, including SSADM, DSDM and Systems Development Lifecycle, Networks, E-commerce, Accounting, Project Management and Marketing.

Lisa has worked with Rotary for the last 22 years. Rotary is a not-for-profit organisation that enables members to make a difference in their local and international communities.  Lisa has held the following positions:

  • Rotaract in Great Britain & Ireland Chairman
  • Founder President of Maidenhead Bridge Rotary Club
  • District Conference Co-ordinator
  • District Publicity Officer
  • Rotary International Rotaract Committee Member 
  • President of Maidenhead Rotaract 

Her experience includes: management and promotion of European Conferences, attended by over 1,000 people from 40 different countries; organising and taking part in charity events and writing and presenting seminars/multimedia presentations for international conferences and meetings. Lisa therefore has knowledge in communicating to a diverse and geographically dispersed population using different messages to suit local cultures and customs.
